How it works and interesting facts.
A lot of people ask me if Homeopathic medicine is the same as essential oils, supplements or home remedies. They are not at all. It is a totally different category altogether. Those treatments are all good, as long as they are boosting the immune system then I think they are helpful. But Homeopathy works in a much deeper and more permanent way, unlike a supplement or vitamin, that when you take it away the symptoms will eventually come back.
Homeopathic medicine comes from the plant, mineral, chemical and animal kingdoms and has been around for over 230 years. The remedies imitate the symptoms of your body to help the body push out whatever sickness it has.
For example, Belladonna is a plant that, when eaten raw, will give someone fever-like symptoms. So, to get rid of a fever, someone can take the Belladonna (in an ultra-safe diluted form) and the fever will go away. It is the same principal as vaccines, allergy shots and even Ritalin (a stimulant) given to calm down a person with ADHD.
Homeopathy works WITH the immune system unlike many pharmaceutical drugs that suppress the symptoms and cause harmful side-effects.
When the remedies are made, they do not even contain one molecule of the substance they started with. You might ask then, how does it work? Well, it involves the study of water memory. Water memory has been studied and proven by a scientist named Luc Montagnier (in 2009) who is a French virologist and Nobel Prize recipient. You can see his results in a documentary called “Water Memory” produced in 2014. The studies show that when a small amount of a substance is shaken causing vibrations in a test tube filled ¼ with pure water, the water molecule bonds are filled with a “picture” of that substance. Then, a drop of that water is mixed in another vial and shaken until more molecular bonds of the original substance are created. This process is repeated many times and each one the water is more diluted and safe but stronger to make it more effective.
This powerful water is poured onto tiny sugar/milk pellets so that we can use them as Homeopathic remedies. The most common potencies to start with are 30C but can go up to 100,000C. Homeopathic medicines can be taken in pill form, tinctures (liquid) or even creams.
INTERESTING FACTS:
In the past 24 years there have been more than 180 controlled, and 118 randomized clinical trials in homeopathy, which were analyzed by four separate meta-analyses. In each case, the researchers concluded that the benefits of homeopathy went far beyond that which could be explained purely by the placebo effect. Homeopathic medicines work even better on animals and babies than on adults, proving this cannot be placebo.Homeopathy is the fastest growing medicine in the world. 40% of all doctors in Europe use Homeopathy. Over 200 Million people worldwide use Homeopathy on a regular basis.Homeopathy assists the body to heal itself to overcome an illness, which brings the patient to a HIGHER level of health. Conventional medicine usually suppresses the illness, usually bringing the patient to a lower level of health. There are actually Homeopathic vaccines. They are non-toxic and effective. For example, Parotidinum prevents Mumps, Influenzinum prevents the flu and Diptherinum for Diptheria and so on. Homeopathy also complements and can be used along-side conventional treatment. Randomized Placebo controlled trials have been used many times to measure the effectiveness of Homeopathic medicine. The difficulty with using this method is that there can be more than one remedy for similar symptoms like a fever could need Aconite or Belladonna depending on the person. This is where the Kinesthetic Response comes into play in my practice. |
